Camp Harding is a camp with character, located in the natural sanctuary of Cypress Hills. We offer children an experience of faith and fellowship throughout the beautiful Centre Block of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park (Saskatchewan Side).

Our Mission is to provide a safe, fun, and supportive environment where children can experience the benefits of summer camp and challenge themselves in new and fun activities.

Small camp sizes mean a more personal experience for campers. Unlike at larger camps, everyone gets to know each other and we become a close knit family. Our friendly and accommodating staff help expose campers to new activities and a safe supportive environment to grow in faith and fellowship.

Location

Camp Harding is located off Cypress Drive in the Centre Block of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. Northwest of Lockleven, just past the valley sits Camp Harding. An oasis of natural lodgepole pine forest. Separated from the other campgrounds but still only a ten to fifteen minute walk to the core area, lake and pool.

If you are driving, ask at the gate for a free temporary pass and then just follow the signs. It should take about five minutes.

Facilities

Camp Harding consists of modest facilities but does not sacrifice safety or comfort. We have four camper cabins (each with a capacity of 9 campers and 2 counsellors) and three staff cabins (with a total capacity of 8). There are washrooms complete with hot showers and laundry service. Our heated Quonset includes a fully equipped kitchen and dining room, multipurpose space and adjoining craft room. There is also an outdoor chapel, a fire pit, a few storage sheds, several parking spaces, a tether ball and so much more.

Staff

Camp Harding is run by a board of camp alumni from across the prairies. For more information see the ‘Camp Board’ page.
A week of camp is run by a Camp Director. The Director plans and executes the week with the help of their staff. A group of Counsellors care for the campers in the day to day. The Cook and their assistance prepare and serve 3 healthy meals a day plus snacks. The Chaplain leads worship, and helps everyone grow in their faith. The Craft Person plans and runs artistic projects. There is also sometimes multi purpose people who help out with everything else. The Camp Harding Staff are energetic, supportive and committed to providing a quality experience for the campers. All staff have up to date background checks and are certified in their field. We are working towards having a certified nurse for every camp.

Camp Harding maintains close ties to the Diocese of Qu’Appelle. As an Anglican camp we welcome children from all backgrounds.
